The Lancaster County Farmland Series
Since my husband and I moved last August farther from the more commercial Lincoln Hwy to Intercourse, Pennsylvania of Lancaster County, most of my regular routes have turned into winding backroads. I have never loved the rolling hills and small farms of Lancaster more than this spring and summer. After 6 years of living in Lancaster, I am now turning my hazards on and stopping by the side of the road to watch an Amish family farm together or a young colt run around his mom. I'm geeking out like a tourist on these backroads.
Because my blinders are lifted and I am seeing the beauty of this area with fresh perspective, I wanted to do a series that reflected my experience, using more modern/minimalistic/simple styles of very traditional subject matter. The simplicity of the art also reflecting the simplicity of the lifestyle that attracts a busy world to this area.

ENNEAGRAM ART
The Enneagram is a tool by which the Gospel can transform you. As I have learned about the Enneagram, I have been encouraged and challenged to recognize sin patterns and to grow in security and Christlikeness. The Enneagram is a helpful context of grace and understanding in friendship and marriage. I have created two series inspired by the nine types: Enneagram Art and Enneagram Flowers.
